Replacing Cartridges on a New Printer

The first time you are replacing cartridges on a new printer the smartest thing you can do is reference a video on the web that will show you exactly what needs to be done to successfully replace your ink cartridges. Sure, you can spend twenty minutes reading through the step by step instructions in your manual and then making an attempt at following them, but it would be easier to just spend two minutes watching someone carry out the steps and then doing it on your own.

When you are replacing a toner cartridge in a new printer you will need to familiarize yourself with the printer components. You could spend twenty minutes looking at the inside of your printer or watch a video and see someone point out where the ink cartridges go and how you can lock them into place.

Videos will clearly show you what you need to do to change the cartridge for the first time. You will not have to worry about accidentally forgetting to lock the cartridges into place or forgetting to pull off the protective strip from the print head after you watch a video that will remind you to perform these crucial steps.

Even if you have owned a printer for years you may want to reference one of these videos should you encounter a problem changing out the cartridge such as a clogged print head or a paper jam. It is much easier to address a printing problem after watching a helpful instructional video.
